I like to start off by first thinking about whether I really like her or is it just infatuation, a phase that I’m just going through, if you will. (or if I’m actually just horny)

Then I torture myself by mentally playing out every worst case scenario that may happen when I finally tell her I like her, and how awkward it would be if she rejects me, especially if she’s a friend. This goes on about two to three weeks, give or take.

And then I brood some more for another week. After which I try to find where I misplaced my balls.

And when I finally find them and get the courage to tell a girl that I like her, I try to do it personally, not through text or email or whatnot. I just spend whatever time I can with her, trying to get the right vibes and trying to spot the opportune moment to finally say “I have feels for you”. And when that moment comes, I really just say “I’m starting to really like you.” or just “I like you” with a sheepish smile.

I’m a simple guy, and I want things like this to be simple and intimate, but if you’re one of those real romantic types who would go as far as buying flowers and presenting them in front of everyone or something, then by all means.

Or you can just go for broke and just straight up say it.
